StoreGit is local-first. Your App Store data stays on your Mac.
Your App Store data
Metadata, keywords, ranking positions, App Store analytics values, app names, and bundle identifiers that StoreGit displays are stored on your Mac. StoreGit does not run a backend that stores your App Store metadata.
StoreGit talks to Apple — App Store Connect for apps, metadata, and analytics reports, and Apple’s public search API for rankings. If you use Translate in App Information, the selected metadata text is sent to the translation provider for that request.
App Store Connect credentials
Your Issuer ID, Key ID, and .p8 private key stay on your Mac and are stored in the macOS Keychain. They are used locally to talk to Apple’s App Store Connect API. They are not uploaded to a StoreGit server.
Anonymous product-usage telemetry
StoreGit does not currently collect anonymous product-usage telemetry. If a future build enables it, that telemetry would be separate from your App Store data and would not include app names, bundle identifiers, App Store metadata, keywords, ranking positions, App Store analytics values, or App Store Connect credentials.
