storegit.com/Git for App Store metadata
StoreGit is a Mac app that keeps every version of your App Store metadata, from name and keywords to screenshots, next to your keyword ranks and downloads. See what each release changed, and what moved after it.
The tour
Four views of one record.
Timeline, App Info, Rankings and Analytics read from the same history, so a release looks the same wherever you meet it. The window below works like the app: click a version, a field or a keyword.
Every version, field by field.
App Store Connect shows what's live. StoreGit keeps what was live before, and what each release changed.
- Name, subtitle, keywords, description, languages, screenshots, previews and icon
- Every localization, or one at a time
- Only what changed, or every changed field in full, side by side
Sample data from Halcyon, StoreGit's demo app. The app opens on what's saved on your Mac, then syncs with App Store Connect.
Privacy
There is no remote.
StoreGit has no server of its own. Your history lives in a database on your Mac, your API keys live in the Keychain, and requests go straight to Apple.
# where StoreGit keeps your history $ git remote -v $
Free and Pro
Free for two apps. Pro for the rest of the story.
Timeline and App Info are free for the first two apps you open. StoreGit Pro adds ranks, analytics and every app on your account.
StoreGit Pro is a subscription, billed by Apple in your country's currency. Cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
Questions
What people ask first.
Start your record
History starts the day you connect.
StoreGit can't see what your metadata looked like before you install it, so every day before you connect is a day it can't show you later.
